Week eight of Dancing With the Stars had the six remaining couples dancing two new dance forms. In an added twist, a former celebrity contestant joined each couple for a trio dance.
First up the couples danced a new dance form. Lindsey Stirling and Mark Ballas were assigned the samba. They did a circus themed dance to Morning Drums by Gregor Salto. The dance received good reviews from the judges, although head judge Len Goodman felt she Lindsey had been slightly off. He gave the team an 8 while the other two judges gave them 9's for a total of 26.
Next up were the trios. Team Stark were joined by Mark's partner from season six Kristi Yamaguchi. They did a jazz routine to Let's Face the Music and Dance by Seth MacFarlane. They received rave reviews from the judges and a score of 28.
Team Stark landed in second place for the night. During the elimination, they were called safe. Terrell Owens and Cheryl Burke were eliminated. Lindsey and Mark move on to the semi finals and two more dances!
