Mark Ballas at VinTropolis

Mark gave a solo acoustic performance at VinTropolis in Houston on Thurs. August 7, 2008. The following is a recap of the night's performance:

The Almost Amy/Mark Ballas Jr. show at VinTropolis last night totally ROCKED! Shortly before Mark began his performance, he chatted and greeted the crowd. Right after the pictures were shot and hugs were given, Mark began the show with a fantastic rendition of "Model In The Making." It was an intimate setting but the place was standing room only since it was packed with many of Mark Ballas' loyal fans and supporters. The crowd cheered as Mark continued to play several new songs in their upcoming Almost Amy album with Hollywood Records. He sang "Ride" "Birthday" "Running" and a couple of really unique covers of "Say" by John Mayer, "You Spin Me Round (Like A Record)" by Dead or Alive and also a Maroon 5 hit. The entire performance from start to finish was incredible - Mark really showcased his awesome singing voice and MAD guitar skills. For a free performance, it was OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! What really made the performance great was Mark's charm and down to earth nature - he again greeted the fans, took lots of pictures, and gave out his autograph with such sincerity and warmth. All in all, it was a huge HIT to all the adoring Houstonians!
L2DBlog wants to thank Lyda for her wonderful recap and pics of this event. Since these are personal photos, please do not repost.

I'm not surprised that he rocked the house at both venues - hopefully the rest of his fans will be able to view his talent live in the next coming months. Go Mark!
